Lavanya Suri

I’m Lavanya Suri, a passionate and experienced French and Spanish language trainer, tutor, translator, and interpreter. I’ve studied both languages up to the highest levels through European examinations and truly enjoy sharing my love for languages with others. I teach students across various boards, including American, IB, IGCSE, AS/A Levels, ICSE, and CBSE.

In addition to working with school students, I also conduct short conversation courses for adults and provide corporate training in both French and Spanish. One of my proudest moments as a teacher was when my IGCSE Spanish student secured the All India First rank in Spanish in 2013.

I am a passionate and experienced educator with a background in bioinformatics, teacher training, and English language instruction. With over 15 years of teaching experience, I’ve had the opportunity to work with learners across various age groups and academic levels.

I’ve taught postgraduate students at Stella Maris College and school students at Sherwood Hall School, specializing in Science, Social Science, and English. My focus is always on making learning clear, engaging, and tailored to each student’s needs. I also prepare students for the IELTS exam, helping them build strong communication skills and confidence in all four language components.

In addition to working with older students, I am also a Certified Phonics Educator, supporting young children in developing early reading and language skills. My phonics sessions are designed to be fun, interactive, and age-appropriate—laying a strong foundation for lifelong learning.

Anjana Ravi

Born and brought up in Chennai, I spent most of my life here. I did spend six years of my life post marriage in Seattle,Washington,USA. I did work for a year in the IT industry after my Bachelor's degree. I immediately realized, teaching is my calling and went on to do my Master's in Computer Science. I worked for two years as Assistant professor of Computer Science at SRM university in Chennai.

Once I landed in the USA, I started my career as a Career and Technical education teacher at schools and later worked in different roles such as adjunct faculty, full- time faculty, after school coding activity club lead, curriculum head, tutor, math and coding competitions expert, executive functioning skills coach, test prep expert at various community colleges and universities in the Greater Seattle area!. Mathematics and Computer Science are my favorite subjects and I love to keep upskilling myself and staying current especially now that AI is booming!

Currently, I work at the Shiv Nadar school, Chennai as the Educational technology integrator. Before that, I worked at the American International school, Chennai as the Secondary Computer Science teacher. I taught courses such as Mobile App Development, Introduction to Java Programming, Lego Robotics and Arduino Electronics and VEX Robotics.

I tutor all levels of Mathematics, Python and Java programming, Scratch, SNAP and Data Structures. I also do test prep tutoring for SSAT,ACT and the SAT.

I did teach basic digital skills to diverse, low-income housing adults in the USA and for informed staff at AISC and that really impacted me when they showered me with so much love and affection at the end and I felt blessed! I am proud to receive the Tutorpreneur award of the year award in 2021.

Hi, I’m Bhargav Raghunathan. I hold a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Communication and a Master’s in Telecommunication. While my academic journey was rooted in engineering, I chose to follow my true passion—making Math fun and engaging for children. I believe that when math is taught in a creative, hands-on way, it transforms from a subject of fear into one of curiosity and joy. My mission is to help young learners build confidence in math by showing them its beauty, patterns, and connection to the real world.

Radhika Iyer

Bonjour!

I am Radhika Iyer — fondly known as Madame Iyer. I am a French tutor and academic content specialist with over 15 years of experience teaching students across multiple curricula, including CBSE, ICSE, IGCSE, CAIE, Oxford AQA, and IB. I have also worked as a French Lecturer at St. Mira’s College for Girls, Pune, where I supported learners at the college level. My passion for French deepened through a 21-day French Exchange Programme in France, which provided rich cultural and linguistic exposure that I now bring into my teaching.

My academic journey includes an MBA in Marketing from the University of Wales (UK) and a BBA from the University of Pune. I have completed certification courses from Alliance Francaise de Poona.
